FACILITIES MANAGEMENT AND COMMERCIAL SERVICES

A Facilities Management (FM) Contract is designed to provide a bespoke solution to a client’s need to outsource any aspect of their business that is not central to their main range of operations. The European Committee for Standardisation (CEN), ratified by the BSI British Standards, defines FM as ‘the integration of multi-disciplinary activities within the built environment and the management of their impact on people and the workforce’.

Taysec makes this simple by ensuring that everything is available and operating properly for building owners and managers to do their work. Operations are managed and maintained using the company’s state of the art data-rich ICT. The key to providing quality FM is to understand the client’s business. Taysec makes this a priority in every case by setting out a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to reflect the client’s needs that can be assessed by key performance indicators to measure how effectively the service is being provided. In Ghana, Taysec provides around the clock response to mechanical and electrical breakdown and can maintain the fabric of buildings nationwide or provide high quality, fast track refurbishment work. A policy of continuous improvement is assured via client satisfaction audits.

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY (ICT)

The effective use of information technology has long been a source of competitive advantage for Taysec. Corporate communications are second to none, with all operations linked to the Taysec central network with both VSAT and high speed radio links to the Internet. Primavera and Expedition are used as project management tools.
