Geoff Fisher, Managing Director
With over 40 years of experience in the building, civil and mining industries, Geoff began his career in civil engineering in the UK before moving into opencast mining, managing some of the largest coal mines in the UK and the largest privately owned fleet in Europe. Geoff first came to Ghana in 1995 to establish Taysec’s highly successful mining division, Taywood Mining, which he went on to run for over 10 years. Geoff was appointed as Managing Director of Taysec in August 2008 and has lead the company through the change of ownership and subsequent restructuring.

Asuama Yeboa Abebrese, Financial Director
Financial Director and Company Secretary with 20 years in the industry, 13 years of which have been with Taysec. A graduate of Manchester University and with an MBA from Liverpool University, Kwaku is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (CAGh). Prior to Taysec, he held roles with the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration and the construction firm Messrs A Lang. As well as his role with Taysec Construction Limited, he was also responsible for setting up and running the finance and accounting functions of Taylor Woodrow’s subsidiaries in Zimbabwe and South Africa of which he was a director. He is an external examiner at the KNUST Business School in Kumasi.

Liam Mcveigh, Operations Director
Liam holds a degree in Civil Engineering, is a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and a member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers. Liam has 20 years of professional experience in France, Ghana, Malaysia, Russia, South Africa and Zimbabwe. First came to Ghana in 1992 to work on the Tamale Roads project as a site engineer and returned to Ghana in 1997 as Africa Planner. Since 1997 he has undertaken the following roles: Planner, Senior Engineer, Project Manager, Contracts Manager and was appointed as Operations Director in August 2008.
