NEWS: New Management takes over TAYSEC [ July 2009 ]
TAYSEC Construction Ltd has been taken over by a new management to reflect the new image of the company, following a re-organisation of its operations.
The company has also unveiled a new logo to assure corporate Ghana of its commitmment to excellent service in its operations in the country.
At a ceremony to launch the company's new identity, the management also inaugurated its new offices, located at the Adwoa Adjeiwaa Building comples along the Cantonments Road (Oxford Street, Osu) in Accra.
The Chairman and Managing director of the company, Mr. Geoff Fisher, told the guests that Taysec Construction Ltd was now a fully-fledged Ghanaian company following a decision by its parent company, Taylor Woodrow of the UK, to sell off its stake in the Ghanaian subsidiary to the existing management and close down its operations in the aftermath of the global financial meltdown last year.
"This is the celebration of a modem, efficient company in a competitive environment. It is a transition from a successful old-fashion type to a modern company," said Mr. Fisher, who was later assisted by Mr. A.Y. Abebrese, the Financial Director of the company, to unveil the new logo. The other shareholder is Mr. Liam McVeigh, the Operations Director of the company.
As an industry leader in the construction sector in Ghana since 1947, Taysec is renowned for quality and excellence, having executed more than 200 projects in Ghana for both private companies and the Government of Ghana. (Culled from the Daily Graphic)
